My mate Craig Perrine shot me an invite to a conference…. so I blew past my excuses, took action by booking the trip (with Carol’s help) and I’m off to Texas, Thursday morning.

I could have made a dozen excuses. Actually I did.

Then I noticed them, thanks to my caribiner!

I then thought about what I really want in my life, and decided to commit and go!

What will you do this weekend?

Today is my birthday! Come celebrate with me!

It’s been an awesome 42 years. Adventure, excitement, ups, downs, challenges and celebrations.

What I remember most are the miracles.

I was born April Fools day, 42 years ago. Talk about a miracle.

The perfect date for me! It was the only day I DIDN’T get beat up in grade school at St. John the Baptist. Back then kids gave each other birthday punches. Since I told them my birthday was April Fools day, I got of scott free!

What a blast!

But here is the kicker! Even though I didn’t get beat up on my birthday, 42 years ago TODAY… I weighed in for the fight of my life at just over 2 pounds.

TWO POUNDS and FOUR ounces to be exact. I showed up 3 months early. Surprise!

It’s amazing I am still here. Making wishes, and experiencing miracles.
